What My Bible Companion does
My Bible Companion is a Bible reading and study app for iPhone and iPad. It combines Scripture reading, bookmarks, notes, highlights, interlinear and lexicon tools, memory practice, audio, a study builder, people profiles, maps and optional AI study.
The app is free to download with optional support purchases. AI uses a bring-your-own-key model: provider charges and availability are separate from the app. The interface is in English. Android is on the waitlist. Verify current compatibility, availability and pricing in the official App Store listing.
Independent evaluation
We welcome accurate, independent reviews. There is no requirement for a positive rating or a link. Please distinguish features you tested from features described in release notes, and state the app version and device used. Questions and corrections can be sent to support@mybiblecompanion.ai.
A useful review can test chapter navigation, saving and finding a note, inspecting an original-language word, exploring a person or place, and understanding the optional AI setup. Describe limitations as well as useful features. Do not enter personal pastoral material merely to test an AI connection.
Screenshots and product assets
Download the press asset pack. It includes app screenshots, an icon, product facts and permitted editorial-use guidance. Screenshots represent the captured version and may differ from a later release.
Free resources worth trying
The first missionary journey includes a route table, interactive geographic map and printable worksheet. The Mark 2 study example demonstrates a repeatable study method. These pages can be used without an app account.
Linking to a resource lets readers access the current version. Coordinate data carries its own OpenBible.info attribution and CC BY 4.0 terms; a product screenshot permission does not override third-party rights.
Creator and contact
Created by Darryn McLachlan. Product guidance reflects direct experience building the app. The site does not claim academic or pastoral credentials for its creator. Read the editorial policy for sourcing and correction principles.
