Giving inside My Bible Companion is optional. It helps fund ongoing development, hosting, testing, design, research, and future study tools while keeping Bible reading available without a paywall.

Is giving required to use the app?

No. Giving is optional and does not unlock extra Bible content, app features, AI access, or priority access. My Bible Companion is designed to remain useful without requiring a payment.

What happens to my money when I give?

Support gifts help cover the practical costs of building and maintaining the app, including development time, testing, website hosting, app infrastructure, design assets, future study tools, and App Store operations.

How can I contribute financially?

You can contribute from the Support Development page inside the app by choosing an Apple-approved amount. You can make a one-time support gift or choose monthly support where available.

Who processes payments?

Payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. My Bible Companion does not receive or store your card details.

How do monthly gifts work?

Monthly support is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple account. You can manage or cancel it from your Apple subscriptions settings.

Can I restore purchases?

Yes. The app includes Restore Purchases so Apple can check your purchase history for previous subscription purchases on the Apple account signed in on the device.

Can I request a refund?

Refund requests are handled by Apple. Visit Apple's purchase report and refund process from your Apple account purchase history.

Does giving affect AI provider costs?

No. Optional AI study uses a bring-your-own-key model. Any API usage, billing, or limits from an AI provider remain separate from support gifts made through Apple.
